OtterOCR
We are particularly proud of OtterOCR, a small utility with a big function. OtterOCR reads text from paper and translates the images into a form that the computer can manipulate (text). An OCR program enables you to take a book or a magazine article, feed it directly into an electronic computer file, and then edit the file using a word processor.
Fast, stable - we challenge any other OCR for accuracy and stability. We spent a great deal of time perfecting this utility because - what is the good of OCRs which lack accuracy? Keyword searches are useless! Not so with OtterOCR output.
OtterOCR is available as a utility in UnitizerPro, UnitizerBasic and also as a stand-alone program.
OtterOCR is now able to merge OCR text output into paginated single OCR files, AND work recursively to OCR documents in folders and subfolders!
